We stay at a resort in Grahamstown and spend four days at the Science Festival.  We take part in various workshops, lectures and activities which include: the hydrogen fuel cell, science experiments, cyber security, nano technology, laser show and hands on human evolution, among others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Every year Grahamstown is host to South Africa\u2019s Science Festival.  This festival was established in 1996 to promote public awareness, understanding and appreciation of science, technology and innovation and is supported by South Africa\u2019s National Department of Science and Technology.  <\/p>\n

On route, we visit Bloukrans River Valley where the worlds highest commercial bungee jump from a bridge occurs.  A few hours are spent here discussing the science of free fall.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
